How it works

Hiring that starts with a match

Developers set their price and their visibility. Companies see skills and salary up front. Conversations start once there is real interest.

For developers

  1. 1
    Build your profile

Import from LinkedIn or your CV, then add your skills, experience, notice period and asking price. It is free and always will be.

  2. 2
    Choose how visible you are

Active: companies see your name and profile and can message you straight away. Passive: you stay anonymous until you and a company both like each other. Not looking: nobody sees you.

  3. 3
    Swipe on roles

Each role shows the salary range, stack, location and work setup up front. Like what suits you, pass on the rest, and undo if you change your mind.

  4. 4
    Match and chat

When there is a match, the company sends the first message in the app. Your email and phone number stay private unless you choose to share them.

For companies

  1. 1
    Sign up and add roles

Create your company and post roles with a salary range, required skills and work setup. Invite teammates to hire with you.

  2. 2
    Discover and swipe

Search every eligible developer by skill, or swipe through recommendations for a role. Save anyone you want to come back to.

  3. 3
    Reach out

Active developers can be messaged straight away. Passive developers unlock once you both like each other.

  4. 4
    Hire and pay only then

Companies pay 10% of the hire's first-year base salary in staggered payments, only when they hire.

The details

What companies see before a match

For Passive developers: headline, skills, salary expectation, years of experience, notice period and city. Past roles show the job title, industry and duration, never the employer. Name, photo and contact details stay hidden.

Asking price

A gross monthly amount in South African rand (ZAR), before tax. For contract or freelance work, enter the monthly equivalent you would want and agree the hourly or day rate with the company after you match.

How companies are checked

The Fliqdev team checks every company that signs up and can revoke access for companies or roles that are not genuine. You can report any role or chat.

Blocking your current employer

Add any company under Hidden companies in your profile. They will not find you in search, swiping or recommendations.
